What you get when you buy a course, what you can do with it, and the handful of things I ask in return.
This is a plain-English starting draft, not legal advice. Have a solicitor in your jurisdiction review it before launch, and fill in the bracketed details — the trading entity, address and jurisdiction are deliberately left blank.
Who you're dealing with
This site and its courses are operated by [TRADING ENTITY], registered in [JURISDICTION]. These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION].
What you're buying
A licence to access the course you bought, for as long as it exists, for your own use. That includes every future update to that course at no extra cost. It's a one-time payment; there is no subscription and nothing renews.
What you can do with it
- Watch it as many times as you like, on any device you own.
- Use the templates and worksheets in your own work, including commercial work, without attribution.
- Quote from it, with attribution, in the ordinary way.
What you can't do
- Share your login, or redistribute the videos and materials.
- Resell the course, or repackage it as your own teaching material.
- Use it to train a machine learning model.
If you do any of the above, I may end your access. I'd contact you first, because in practice this is almost always a misunderstanding rather than bad intent.
Refunds
30 days, no questions. The full policy is on the refund page and it takes about a minute to read.
What I promise, and what I don't
I promise the course contains what the sales page says it contains, that it works, and that you'll get access promptly. If any of that fails, you get your money back.
I don't promise a business outcome. No course can, and anyone promising one is selling you something other than education. Nothing here is financial, legal, tax or immigration advice, and it should not be relied on as such — for those, use a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.
Availability
I'll keep courses available and updated for as long as they're useful. If I ever retire one, existing students keep access and get notice with a download window first.
Changes
If these terms change materially, I'll email anyone who's bought something. The date at the top always reflects the last change.
