30 days. No questions. Actually.
Email me within 30 days of buying and I'll refund it. There's no form, no exit survey, and no attempt to talk you out of it.
This is a plain-English starting draft, not legal advice. Have a solicitor in your jurisdiction review it before launch, and fill in the bracketed details — the trading entity, address and jurisdiction are deliberately left blank.
The policy
Within 30 days of purchase, email me and ask for a refund. I'll process it, usually the same day. You don't need to give a reason, and I won't ask for one.
Why it's this simple
Refund friction is a tactic, and it's a bad one. Making people justify themselves recovers a small amount of revenue and costs a lot of goodwill from exactly the people most likely to talk about your work. I'd rather refund cleanly and keep the relationship.
The refund rate on my courses is under 3%. Making the process harder would move that by a fraction of a percent and I'd think less of the business.
How to do it
- Email me from the address you bought with.
- Say which course. That's the whole message — "refund, Travel Smarter" is enough.
- The refund goes back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
The small print
- Access to the course ends when the refund is processed. That's the only condition.
- Past 30 days I'll still look at genuine problems — access failures, or a course that isn't what it said it was. Just ask.
- If you've bought the same course twice by accident, tell me any time and I'll refund the duplicate. The 30 days doesn't apply to that.
- The bundle is refundable as a whole within 30 days, on the same terms.
Statutory rights
This policy sits on top of your legal rights as a consumer, and doesn't replace or limit them. Where local consumer law gives you more than 30 days or a stronger remedy, that law applies.
Questions about any of this? Email me and I'll answer plainly.
